You've separated, that was hard enough. But now you need to sort out property and parenting with no idea where to start and you're terrified of losing thousands to lawyers.
What if you could finally get your property and parenting sorted without the confusion, fear, and crippling legal bills... Would that change everything?
Here's why feeling lost and overwhelmed right now is costing you more than you think
You've already done the hardest part you've separated, or you've made the decision to. That took real courage, and we see that.
But now you're facing something equally daunting: the legal maze of divorce or de facto separation in Australia. And if you're like most people going through separation right now, you're probably:
-01-
Lying awake at night Stressing
If you'll be able to afford to fight for what's fair.
-02-
Feeling paralyzed by legal jargon you don't understand
worried that one wrong move will cost you everything
-03-
Watching your savings drain away on lawyer consultations
that leave you more confused than before
-04-
Terrified you'll miss a crucial deadline or make a mistake you can't undo
especially when it comes to the kids
-05-
Feeling like you're Stuck in limbo
While your ex controls the timeline (and maybe the joint accounts)
-06-
SICK of the Uncertainty
just wanting it to be sorted so you can finally move on with your life.
...If that's you, then keep reading, because we can help
Most people believe these myths about getting divorced or de-facto separated:
Myth #1
"You can't do anything until you're officially divorced."
False. You can start negotiating property and parenting agreements the day after you separate. In fact, waiting until you're divorced can put you under unnecessary time pressure.
Myth #2
"If you move out, you'll lose your rights to the house."
Wrong. Where you live during separation doesn't determine your property entitlement. The court knows people separate, and you still have the same rights.
Myth#3
"Only lawyers can do this properly."
Not true. The court actively encourages people to settle outside of court. You absolutely can create your own consent orders—you just need to know how.
Myth #4
"Your income during the relationship determines the percentage split."
Nope. The court doesn't care who earned more. What matters is that you both contributed everything you had to the family. A hospital cleaner and a neurosurgeon can have equal contributions.
Myth #5
"Whatever your ex tells you is fair must be right."
This is the most dangerous myth of all. Your ex's interests are no longer aligned with yours. If they're telling you not to get legal advice, there's usually a reason and it's not in your favour.
Here's the truth that nobody talks about in Divorce:
Most people going through divorce don't have a lawyer on speed dial. They don't have unlimited funds to hand over their entire case to a legal team. And they certainly don't have the luxury of waiting years for court dates while their life stays frozen in place.
The family court system can cost on average between $50,000 to $100,000 and can take up to three years just to get basic orders in place. Even if you avoid court entirely, using lawyers for everything can still cost if you are lucky $20,000 or more.
Meanwhile, you're sitting on your playroom floor in a daze (or lying awake at 3am) trying to figure out how property settlement or custody even works, what you're entitled to, and whether you'll ever feel like yourself again.
YOU DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS
✨This is stressful enough already
Picture This: It's 2am and You Can't Sleep
Your mind is racing. You're thinking about the house, the kids, the super, the car. Who gets what? What's fair? Your ex sent you another controlling text today, and you just froze. You didn't know what to say. You didn't know your rights.
You've Googled "how to get divorced in Australia" seventeen times this week. Each article uses terms you don't understand. Consent orders. Disclosure. Section 60I certificate. Contributions. Future needs.
Your friend says you need a lawyer. Your ex says you don't need a lawyer (which makes you think you definitely need one). You called a law firm, and they wanted $3,500 just to get started plus thousands more in a trust account.
You attended one consultation. You cried through most of it. You walked out with paperwork you didn't understand and a bill for $800. When you got home, you couldn't remember half of what the lawyer said.
You feel helpless. Stuck. Scared. Overwhelmed. And completely alone.
You're the peacemaker in your relationships, so part of you just wants to agree to whatever your ex suggests so this nightmare will end. But another part of you knows that's not fair. That you deserve better. That your kids deserve better.
Some days you put on that brave face for your children, your family, your coworkers. But inside? Inside you're terrified you're going to make the wrong decision and regret it for the rest of your life.
We know, because we've both been there.
But Here's What You Actually Deserve...
After everything you've been through after finding the courage to leave or dealing with being left, after all the sleepless nights, after putting everyone else first for so long you deserve to finally feel empowered and in control.
You deserve to wake up knowing exactly what your next step is. To understand the legal process well enough that you can make your own informed decisions. To negotiate with confidence instead of fear. To stop paying lawyers $600 an hour to answer basic questions you could learn yourself.
You deserve clarity confidence and the knowledge that you're not going to get taken advantage of just because you don't have a law degree.
You deserve to get your property and parenting agreements sorted once and for all so you can finally, finally move on with your life and start rebuilding.
And you deserve to do all of this without spending more on lawyers than you'll actually receive in your settlement.
We're going to show you exactly how to make that happen. But first, there are a few things you need to know about how divorce and de facto separation actually works in Australia and why the system is expensive and keeps you confused, dependent.

These two women helped us out immensely!!! We would never of known where to start or how to proceed and what to expect unless we stumbled across this. My daughter signed up to the course and pretty much handled the whole thing herself with only a step in step out approach with a lawyer at crucial stages… So appreciative!!!! Can’t thank them both enough for their expert guidance through a very dark season. Jan 2026

This has been hands down. The MOST helpful and supportive resource along my entire process. These amazing women are incredibly experienced and knowledgeable and offer practical actionable tips. 10/10 - Nov 2022
Two Paths Forward.
Which Will You Choose?
Path One: Continue feeling confused, overwhelmed, and helpless. Keep calling lawyers who charge hundreds per hour. Watch your settlement drain away in legal fees. Spend years stuck in limbo while your ex controls the timeline. Risk making expensive mistakes because you don't understand the process.
Path Two: Invest in yourself. Learn the legal system so you can make informed decisions. Take control of your case. Potentially save tens of thousands in legal fees. Get your property and parenting agreements sorted so you can finally move on with your life with confidence, clarity, and money still in your pocket.
The choice is yours.
The system isn't designed to be simple. But that doesn't mean you can't learn it. And once you do, you'll finally have the power to take control of your own future. - Lyn Galvin
This Is Your Roadmap Out
Hi, I'm Laura and this is my Mum, Lyn a Family Lawyer.
I created The Divorce Blueprint because I went through exactly what you're going through. I sat on that playroom floor. I cried in a lawyer's office while the meter was running. I spent thousands of dollars on legal fees when I didn't need to simply because I didn't know there was another way.
I had an advantage you might not have: I could call my Mum whenever I was confused, worried or scared. And I did. Constantly. I'd ring her and say, "Mum, what does this mean? What do I do next? Is this normal?"
And that's when it hit me: What do people do if they don't have a family lawyer for a Mother?
How do they figure out the legal process when they're overwhelmed, emotional, and exhausted? How do they avoid getting taken advantage of by a manipulative or avoidant or high conflict ex? How do they keep control of their case without handing over their entire financial settlement to lawyers?
They shouldn't have to figure it out alone. And now they don't have to.
The Divorce Blueprint is the course I desperately wish had existed when I was going through my divorce. It's everything Mum and I learned from my experience, from her 35 years in family law, and from helping hundreds of members just like you get through their divorce with clarity, confidence, thousands of dollars still in their pocket and their sanity intact.

Let's take a look at what's inside

Think about this:
Just one single hour with a lawyer costs $500-$1,000.
A full legal case can costs $50,000-$100,000 if you go to court or around $20,000+ on average if you stay out of court but use lawyers.
The Divorce Blueprint costs you less than 2hrs with a lawyer. And it gives you the knowledge so you can be in charge and handle your case from start to finish and stay out of court.
Please note: (we do always strongly suggest to see a lawyer at least twice once at the start and once before signing anything

Since doing the course I feel good and ready for action. Before I was totally overwhelmed but now I have a “I can do this attitude”. It has totally saved on lawyers fees because It has helped me minimise the need to book appointments with my lawyer as I feel much more equipped with the knowledge I need. Thanks so much for your help and knowledge. I have recommended this course to so many people - 2022

Lyn and Laura host the Q+A sessions with sincerity, knowledge, experience and empathy. This in itself is a comfort in a situation where your narrative is reduced to number crunching and where it is often best to leave emotion and disappointment out. Having the opportunity to informally ask for an immediate reflection on your pressing concern, in the presence of others also sharing their divorce realities, is invaluable. These sessions are the perfect companion to progressing through your self-education or for clarification before, between or after your own legal engagements. I often benefit from other members' relevant questions, as much as my own. You could not wish for a better situation, an hour to have a cup of tea and engage with an experienced lawyer in the evening or early morning knowing you can look forward to the next opportunity. Q+A with these two gorgeous women is a welcome resource and support in navigating this solo journey. This testimonial is written in honesty and with gratitude. Sept 2023

After signing up to the course I can confidently say that I feel more empowered and in control of my situation. It was an amazing feeling that I was not alone and somebody was looking after me. Your course helps me to understand my rights before my lawyer tells me. Now my questions are more direct and my lawyer doesn’t need to explain the basics to me (saving me money). I couldn’t have gone through last year without you. Every single module is full of practical strategies that have helped me understand my rights, identify my ex’s behaviour and learn how to protect myself. March 2023
